This mounts to your steering column in 5 mins (just a few screws, included) & cleanly places a foldable cradle for your iPhone in driver's view for easy line of sight/access. (out of view when not in use)

No mods required, completely reversible.
For the iPhone 4/4S WITHOUT any cases or covers.

This kit includes everything you need to mount your iPhone to the left or right of your second generation Mini steering column: Bracket R, and the Swivel Cradle. The FlexPod Bracket R can be mounted on either side of the steering column.
