Smile R56 Driver side Lower knee bolster

Part fits (you may select multiples): R56

Item Condition: Used

Anyone totally parting out their R56? My retaining clip broke off of my knee bolster and now it just dangles while driving. Though its still being held up by the lower screws, it does not look good. The part doesn't cost too much from the website, but I figure I'd rather give a fellow forum member the $ than a store. Thanks.

Im looking for part number: 51162757647 (#5 on the list) from

If you're still under warranty, the dealership should just be able to replace the clips that broke. The black plastic piece that you use to pull place your hand to pull down the rear hatch had a broken clip and my dealership replaced it for me. They should do the same for you if this was the case.

I have 3 months left on my warranty. I'll give them a shot? Thanks for the advice! You think they will honor still it if it looks like I tried to fix it, but failed? Lol

You know just be up front about it. It's just a few clips and you can say something like your knee hit the piece and the clips snapped out. You tried to fix it but the clips were already broken. They should give you a hard time about it since you're under warranty.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks again!
