hey! how much for the headers? oh wait i see.
IMO, way too much. I can get similar for about 200 bucks, even if i had to buy a cat for 100. come down in price?

No, you can't.

I certainly could, but not to compete with the garbage on eBay that you're trying to compare this too. This is isn't some Chinese knockoff...

Yes, by far. It uses the high quality inconel head flange from the BMW header, and a much higher grade of stainless steel. OBX/Megan/Ebay (it's all made by the same company) stuff has a history of cracking, especially on Minis due to the transverse mounting of the motor. This piece is much more comparable to the supersprint header that sells for $983+shipping brand new. I paid about 900 for this header, so at the current price, it's quite a steal.

Unlike the cheapo headers, this unit will last the life of the car.

I hate it when people compaired Ferrari to a ford escort. Such as the case with trying to compair a obx header to yours. You pay for quality. I made the mistake of getting some cheap Megan coilovers, regretted it every day!

Exactly dude. There's simply no comparison.

I'll cut you a repeat-customer discount on the header if you want. You haven't heard terror until you run that with the Alta.

Yes. However you can either space the o2 sensor or get an o2 sensor simulator if that is something you want to avoid.

How did you acquire the cylinder head? Was it pulled off of another S? Any idea what the odometer was on previous S when it was pulled?

Bought it from the dealership to have as a core as I was planning on porting one out and installing bigger valves and such. No idea on mileage, though I would assume it was low. I was told that it came from an S, though I do not know the difference.
