Hey, I need your help guys. I went to change the fuel filter in my car, and the O-ring that sits on the top moved, and locked the top on the canister, and fuel is leaking , so I can't leave it like that. Anybody have an assembly that is readily available so I can get her off my back?

 

Is it in this diagram? If so, which number(s). I have the entire fuel system from a 2006 MCS.

 

I got it to open, but not without some plastic creeking and odd noises, but the car does run and drive perfectly. I still want to change the assembly.

Word to the wise, DON'T use aftermarket o-rings that and aftermarket filter comes with. I had to reuse the old gasket, and it went back on like a glove. Also, place the large canister top o ring at the edge of the cap, not up against it's final position, or you may end up with a split gasket.
