Anybody like sushi and cruisin? Then I got just the meet plan.
I live by the shore ( Atlantic City area) and about 15 mins. from my house there is a Japanese/Chinese (Taiwanese) cuisine resturant that has some fresh and tasty sushi, and the best pop corn chicken around! (it's a special recipe that I've only tasted halfway around the world...brings a tear to my eye sometimes.)
The best part is the owners are from Taiwan ( My wife is from Taiwan, and sometimes she's homesick, and is nice to bump into fellow Taiwanese) And they brought some of their recipes with them. The Sushi chef is seriously looking into buying a MINI, and gawked over ours, they treat us so well there, and I'd love to return the kindness that would kill two birds with one stone.
So here's the deal, I would love to set up some kind of meet for a trip to this place. It would give them such needed business in these times, and since the parking lot is right at the street, and is long, a line of awesome looking MINI's would seriously turn some heads.Afterwards maybe a cruise to a shore detination ( Ocean City/Wildwood?) which would certainly make this cruise worthy for some who are a little ways away.
If you don't like Sushi, they have Chinese food like General Tsao's chicken, which I normally get as well, and some domestic food like peppered steak.
I understand this club represents all of New Jersey, not just the south, but this would give you an excuse to get out of the house, and enjoy the day.

The club size is on the smaller side. You may also want to contact a dealership who is interested in MINI events. I used to be an MA at Princeton. Jeremy is now the sales manager and he is very enthusiastic about doing events. Your event could be a good size doing it that way and your friend's restaurant will get a good spike. Philly MINI used to do a lot of runs but I've been out of touch so I don't know if they still do.
