Hello everyone, I'm new to this site. It will take some time for me to getting used to this. I recently purchased an 2009 mini cooper s clubman. I believe it is referred to as an R55. I live in the union county area and I would like to get some tips on this type of car. It's my first mini, and I know not much of this car.
I work in Weehawken, NJ. So my drives home at night are pretty cool. I usually see a hand full of mini's along my way home. I have so many questions but don't know where to start. But I would like to beef up the exhaust, for performance & sound. And upgrade the intake. Just not sure what brands are good.
I would also like to add a little thump music wise. I don't want a big *** box. Don't need 12". Just something that gives me a bump. Let me know whT you guys think. I would love to learn as much as I can.

What's going on? Learning too. Just waiting for my CM-S to be delivered. I ordered the HK radio but would like hear it first before committing to a powered sub. But will prob go that route cause I like to hear a nice kick drum. Don't need to have my trunk/hatch rattle with a huge 12 or 15. Looking at exhausts and intakes too. Just don't want to mess with my warranty you know.

Where'd you get your mini?

 

I bought my mini in Linden, NJ (Union County). That sounds great. Good luck & keep me posted on that HK radio. I really don't want to change any of the original parts in my mini. But I will deffinately weight my options. I was thinking of putting one of these items in the trunk or under the seat of my mini. Infinity basslink, Kenwood KSC-SW10 or the kicker hideaway. Just not sure on what is a more reliable product.
