I made it through the surgery ok but ended up back in the hospital with edema on 7/9. So after 3 days of ridding my body of excess fluid, I think I am feeling a bit better. I can't drive yet, but I get chauffeured in my MINI when my husband can take me. I won't be there this week since I can't drive and my husband has opening nite for his play this Friday. If you are looking for entertainment on a budget this weekend, try Bye Bye Birdie at Kelsey theater at Mercer County Community College Campus. I miss you. Hope to see you next week.

 

On 6/27 I visited Princeton Mini and dropped off a bunch of invitation cards for the sales staff to distribute. They seemed happy to hand them out and had indicated that a club was frequently asked about by new purchasers. Hopefully this will help the group expand. Sorry I can't be there right now.

I was driving my Mini by Panera and Gamestop after reading this forum earlier, and it wasn't until I looked at the crowd of people outside Yogurtland that it hit me! I'm over in Hightstown and have been looking to connect with other drivers in the area (instead of Hartford, CT where I drove the Mini off the lot). Would be more than excited to meet up and meet other owners in the area.

If your in Hightstown you should drive on over to Anthony's Chicken and Grill and say "Hi" to Chris and Jenn, They are Mini Owners too. Tell them FranticFreddy sent you!

Hi, Every Thursday night I park in the Kohl's parking lot at 6:30 pm. I will look for you this Thursday. I have invitation cards for any other MINI owners you want to invite. We will be planning a trip to Princeton MINI to peruse their new car inventory just for fun. If it's too hot, we may go across to DQ to cool off with a drink or dessert.

 

I stuck some invitation cards on some MINIs that were around last Thursday night. I hope to see some more friends this Thursday. Come tell your MINI tales.

 

Haven't been to Anthony's in a while, but have to say... Love their buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Favorite food thing I've found since I've been over here.

Should be able to get back down from work by then, so hope to see you all Thursday!

We meet each Thursday evening in Kohl's parking lot at hamilton Marketplace across from Dairy Queen and Red Robin around 6:30pm. I am there every week just to make sure new people have a contact person. On August 16th I will not be there. But I will be there on August 9th.
