Da bones is workin! I just came in from cleaning all the bugs out of Itsy's teeth and washed his feet. I had the NOAA radio on and tomorrow is lookin gud!..as you mentioned above...no word of rain. If you ever have the time, look into an ole country song named "Marie LaVoe" by Bobby Bear (Bare). I think you'll enjoy it.

Oh...for gosh sakes, just because Dorothy and I got lost up in that maze of roads in North Jersey that all go nowhere...you now send me pictures of what the meeting place looks like...will we ever live it down !

I went out and bought one of those $450 GPS thingys that sticks to the windshield and hollars at you "TURN RIGHT...NOW FOOL!". And wouldn't you know it...it has a womans voice that I keep telling Dorothy sounds just like Peggy! Just listen for static on your GRS radio...that'll be me!

I actually have a voice this time!(that was so funny to call turns with no voice left) Also you will get to meet my other daughter the pastry chef. CUPC8KE's owner.... See I do have 2 girls.....just gave birth once that's all!
I'm bringing hubbys giant Austrailian girlfriend (GPS) myself for the run since he did the dry run with it all the pionts are in her.... See you in the morning.

I am also Not sure i I am going to be able to get down there, yesterdays rain out with Soccer games may be made up today, Will do my best to get make it but wont know till about 930 or so

 

Oh mannn.... you would LOVE the mountain roads especially Snydertown road! I figured you to be second to last with my other daughter hanging back on that road a little and then letting loose (wanted you to let me know if my girls drive the same ) No worries mate! I know you ride all winter too so maybe another day.

The only thing that bums me out about the rain is I spent a good portion of yesterday polishing Itsy, cleaning his toes...and now he's going to be speckled by rain drops!

We are going to go see if the hand car wash is open yet. If it's raining they don't bother to open but with the promise of clearing they might be open.

Peggy, that was quite fun!

Geez this was an expensive weekend. 90.00 spent at the Chiller Theater expo at the Parsippany Hilton and then the close to the same today at the vineyards. I had a great time though!

PS: Jim you were missed!

 

Guys I am so sorry I could not make it, but the rain washed out yesterdays Soccer games and they had to be made up today. My middle daughters team will make the playoffs since they won today.

Really wished I could have made the run as this is pretty much my last day off till January. On a Positive note I did manage to get 2 of my other cars ready for winter.

 

The rain stopped, the scenery was great, the roads were great and we had fun tasting the grapes. On top of this we met some new Mini owners...Hi to Pete and Maggie. All of this was through the untiring efforts put out by the host of this run..Peggy (MOTE)...Tnx Peg!
