Ok - I'm jumpin the gun a little bit as I don't actually have my mini yet (date of completion is August 26th at the plant) but I work in Rahway and would most likely be up for a gathering in the future. Could you let me know which Starbucks you meet at?

It's where Target and the Movie Theater is...next to the Airport and Checkers...right across from the old GM plant was.

Don't turn where the BK is...just go down to the next light between Home Depot & Staples on the right...Quiznos & Starbucks on the left...we're there.

My Girlfriend Lynn might show up in her BRG Clubman. But i told her she has to clean it first. At least the outside. LOL

 

I'll try and show up after work but I'll in a black PT Cruiser. I should hopefully be celebrating though as my mini should be "born" tomorrow - here's hoping that Ask Mini gives me good news. =)

Well folks i just got out of my car. Its been sitting in the driveway and wont Since last nite and it wont start ! Idk whats going on. No lights come on or anything so its def something electrical .

 

No lights at all? Could your battery just be dead? Anyway you can get a jump from someone?

If you can get a jump and it starts, try disconnecting the battery to eliminate an alternator.

 

Battery was replaced last year.

Im gonna try and get a jump from someone but they dont get home till much later

 

If you need a jump send me a PM. I should be leaving Middletown by 5 to head home. My oil change can wait another day or two. You're only ~10 min north of me.

Went food shopping (walked) and just got home. Still no start. Also, it sounds like some "clicking" noises coming feom the fusebox area.
No lights whatsoever ! Nothing in the dash comes on
When i first went oitside to the car, the remote worked and i got in the car no prob. Now the doors wont lock w the remote either. Had to lock the doors by hand. Hope its not something expensive like an alternator !

Anyway, you guys have fun and have a Latte for me. Hoping to be there for next months meet

Im so bummed that i couldnt make it. I actually pulled a "Chan" , but def unintentionally.

My bro in-law (a ex-tech) seems to think its the battery. I sure hope it is and not anything more serious! I Will slow charge it tomorrow and update

Everyone was asking about you at the meet...and as you requested we all did have a coffee on you...you will be receiving the bill in your next credit card billing .

We had a very nice turnout. By my count we had 8 Minis lined up in the parking lot and one new potential owner (Maui Meg) who was informed of the "birth" of her car earlier in the day.

I took a few pictures of the turnout for you to put in your scrapbook. We hope to see you at the next gathering...with a fully charged battery!

Hey guys - just wanted to thank you all who were at Starbuck's last for the warm welcome. I had a great time getting to meet everyone and of course now I can't wait until I can pull up with my own mini (soon ).
