Oh wow, that's great. Congrats.
Oh, did you guys end up going to MTTS Boston? I was there but I got there early and left around 1pm. I didn't do the rally either. With the gas prices they way it is, I'm just glad I made it up to Boston.
I should've contacted you before the event to meet up or something.

Yes...
We had breakfast at the Sheraton, Mahwah, NJ on Friday Morning. We left with the Flying Finn. We did the F1, Friday Nite. We were at Anthony's Pier 4 on Saturday Morning. We did the Rally through Salem & Gloucester. We ended up at UMASS Boston. We left by 3:00 PM to go home...MTTS was good not great...
NOW MOT...that was the BOMB!
That is what a Mini Event is about...driving, driving, & more driving. We met lots of people...and the people we met from YC at our table from Friday ended up winning something. Such as:
1. Someone dressed up his car in all NY Yankees accessories, lots of NY Yankess Magnets and Pinstripes galore...he won best dressed.
2. Someone won the MINI Luggage.
3. Someone won the JCW Intake
4. Autographed picture from the "Flying Finn"
5. Someone got engaged on top of Mt. Washington
6. We won the Clubman and the Mini Cuckoo Clock.
Then we drove up the mountain in rainy, cloudy, and some windy weather.
I didn't see anything at the top but it was freakin' cold. I could only see five feet in front of me.
Going up was easy, but coming down the mountain in an AUTO was a trip. Luckily I put it in Manual Mode in the First Gear using the Steptronic. I didn't burn my brakes out.
We will call the Boston Dealership on Tuesday, and they might make arrangements to bring it down to Princeton. I'm hoping.

Sounds like you had a blast.
Me, I left NY around 3pm and I got to my friend's place (just outside Boston) at 8:30 pm . The Merritt Parkway was basically a parking lot.
I should have head over to F1 Boston now that I thought about it. But when I got to my friend's house, they were preparing dinner. Then after we just watched some TV, catch up on old times then went to sleep.
Then in the morning, my friend and I headed over to Umass. My friend was so impressed with the Clubman, he's planning on getting on in the future.
I hope to see you guys at the next dealer event or get-togother.

Hope to make it over!
I'm about to pass the break-in stage of my new MCS. I'm going to try to make it down to the Outlet show this Friday.
So far, mine's just stock but I can't wait to see some more local MINI enthusiasts. (Most of the MINI'ers I see near my work in Princeton aren't true motorists.)
