Manny, nah, I bet his car doesn't even know what rain is .

Thread title fixed... along with proper capitalization of MINI.

I hope the meet is fun. I'd join you all if I lived up that way (even though I don't drink coffee... Starbucks serves hot chocolate too! )

Another great meet, hope to do it again, next time we should definitely go to Panera. Hope they will actually give us free pizza . But I think I can get my hands on the aero kit sale from Classic. So fingers crossed.

I think we can squeeze in a couple of more meetings before the weather really starts getting cold. Brrr.

Dan, as I suggested before, if you get the aero kit, hold off on the install until winter is over. Then when the weather is warmer, get all the chips on the hood fix then get it all clear bra-ed. Then you'll be pimpin' for the spring and summer.

Anyways, I bet applying the clear bra on the bumper is easier if the bumper is off the car in the first place.

Well for the clear bra they only apply it to the front bumper right? If so that means I can put on the side skirts and the rear in the mean time. But I was just wondering how much would the clear bra cost me, because I'm already loaning 1k for the body kit right now. I don't know if I will have enough for the clear bra later.

OK, I just got back from the dealer. I was pleasently surprised when I saw none other than the famous Mr. Papavasiliou drive off in my car . Now with that warm fuzzy feelin' all inside, I know my car was in good hands .

Anyways, they ultimately traced the leak back to the rear wiper. Kinda makes sense since pretty much the entire boot area was bone dry. Mr. Papavasiliou replaced the grommet then blow dried inside of the hatch.

Oh yeah, I also got a new engine mount out of the deal. Recently I've noticed a knocking noise coming from othe front end of the car. But it was only noticeable with the radio off. At first I thought it was the dreaded engine mount. But I did not find any signs of leakage on the mount itself. So I just left it alone. Then I guess Mr. Papavasiliou noticed the noise when he drove off in my car then promtly replaced the mount . I guess if I didn't turn off the radio when I got to Prestige, Mr. Papavasiliou might not have noticed the noise.

Dan, if you have concerns about the cost of the clear bra, I'm offering my services . I'm sure others in the group are willing to help with the install.

Hey guys! I'm so sorry I missed everyone on Thursday. I didn't get out of that dinner until 8 (!) and I was in Somerville, so I wasn't sure if it was worth it for me to head to Linden.

Yeah I'm usually roaming around Union/Middlesex/Somerset County. Plus my girl lives in Mountainside so I'm down there quite a bit. Just a sidenote, we went to Rio 22 last night. WOW! The food is amazing. Great Rodizio. Highly recommend!

I hope the next meet is soon!

^ DID YOU JUST SAY RODIZIO !?!? I LOVE RODIZIO !

Ive been to 3 Brasilian rodizio restaurants around here and even went to Rio 22 after seeing your post last nite. Very good, and nice atmosphere. However, the best ive had and most authentic to me is this place Brasilia Grill in Ironbound Website-->

http://www.brasiliagrill.com/swf/brasiliangrill8_.swf They also have live Samba on the weekends and a Lounge/niteclub downstairs!

Check it out sometime, its awesome ! I think i will persuade the wife to take me out there next month for the B-Day

And we'll try and organize another Coffee meet maybe in a few weeks...

Yes are you correct. I went to Fernandes sometime last year. Very good, and they gave us too much food to be honest, i was told about Fernandes through a friend and i didnt even know it existed there since its kinda far off from Ironbound and theres nothing else there but an industrial area.

I like Brasilia Grill because its in the center of ironbound and a short walk away from the bakeries and Cafe's

Also, you have to try Adega Grill http://www.adegagrill.com/ on ferry street for an upscale fine dining experience with the gf/wife, and try Seabras Metisquiera (Portuguese for a seafood restaurant) on Madison st. Both places share the same parking lot on Madison right across from Seabras. I even considered doing a MINI meet at one of these but dont know how you guys would feel about going to Ironbound, but trust me, i go there a few times a week and its very safe never had a problem there

I would have no problem going into the Ironbound. I have been meaning to try Brasilia Grill, I've heard all good things about it. I work with a Brazilian girl who gave me the name of about 1000 restaurants to check out, so my list just got longer. Rio 22 was outstanding though and a great place for a meet, especially for a lunch get together. The price comes down quite a bit for lunch.
