Sounds like a fun run. A bit far for me - I'm in Central Jersey, between Somerville and Princeton, on Rt 206. Hoping someone in my area catches this thread and knows of one in the works for our area.

As an aside, we were all over the Brandywine/Chadds Ford area today, saw a bunch of Mini's, and plenty of friendly wavers. Nice...

 

I have one extra 2-way radio if anyone wants to borrow it during the rally. At the minimum, we should at least make sure our lead driver (Jeff?) has one...

 

I hope the weather is as good next weekend as it was this weekend.

I also have an extra radio if anyone needs one.

 

Just makin' sure we still got an interested crew for our run on Saturday... roll call??

 

 

I've finalized the route & will make copies for everyone.

As requested, meeting at 9:00 AM at West Deptford High School.
Directions to West Deptford High School from 295...
Driving north on 295, take exit 22. Go straight thru traffic light at intersection with Red Bank Ave. & school is immediatly on the right.
Driving south on 295, take exit 22. At bottom of exit ramp, make left, go under 295 & make immediate left. School on your right.
Note: At the intersection of Crown Point Rd. & Red Bank Ave., there is a Lukoil & a conveninece store if anyone needs food or fuel.

Weather-wise, it's looking pretty lousy. Nevertheless, I'll be there.

Yeah, weather does look sucky.

But I'll still be there! Just be bringin' my rain jacket along for Fort Mott.

Hopefully the rain will clear out at some point during the day, as this weather system is forecasted to be history by Sunday.

And in response to our Miata friend... I'm sure we'd be happy to show off our Minis if you wanted to show up and peek! (But, uh, I won't be relinquishing mine for the rally...)

 

i wasn't saying for the rally i just wanna take one up and down the block or something

 

A) I've driven a number of Miatas.
B) I don't even let my wife drive my MINI.

have you driven a boosted miata? 15lbs of boost on Hi, runs 12.9 from dead stop cause of turbo lag (doesn't hit full boost till 3800).

and yea i don't let me girlfriend drive my car either but i have let other enthusiasts driven mine in return for driving theirs.

ah well i guess ill come hang out when i get mine then
