I agree - it was a great turnout and I really enjoyed meeting everyone. Hope we can do it again sometime and I'll keep my eyes open for other meets I can make.

I had some issues getting there buy smooth sailing home on 1&9.
Although I went the truck route instead of the palaski and the bridge was up.
Wishin' I had the PS2 then!

 

What a great meet! We keep gettin more and more Mini's everytime we do this it seems. 8 Mini's for a last min get together is awesome!

We def got to do this again soon before the warm weather goes away. Im thinking sometime in a few weeks. Maybe we can do it a different location. Possibly a Beer/Wine get a drink" meet?

I'm wondering what shops everyone gets there car serviced at, I briefly spoke about getting a 15% Pulley installed and was wondering if you know of dealers that will cover engine work under warrenty.
I think Prestige will just wondering if there are others you guys might know of. Or one you would recommend, I've been unhappy with Mini of Manhattan.

My car's scheduled service is coming up soon and i plan to take it to Princeton MINI (it is much closer to me).

As for aftermarket mods, If you don't mind driving down to Philly, you can contact Eric at Helix for the pulley install and all your modding needs.

FYI. there was a 70-90 car meet in Union tonight. one Mini and it was mine BUT, its at an applebees, its well lit and the cops dont care. figured i'd let you guys know.
also, i had a guy stop by the shop today with a fully modded Mini that i have never seen before. full body kit, 20" Axis wheels (looked like 19s" and werent chrome), full suede interior, brake kit, etc. a real nice show car, he is gonna drop by after work one of these days and ill get some pics. he is down for the next meet we have, he had no idea about NAM or M/U...lol. i love meeting the "outsider" Mini owner.

WOW JP, I can't believe this guy never heard of NAM and Nemini with a Mini like that.That is Fun meeting guys like that. Can't wait to see his car. Sounds Awesome.

FYI.

 

I sent you a reply back to your PM, but it didnt go through to you because i got a "users message box is currently full and not accepting anymore messages"

Anyway, my car is at the dealer until Friday they are guesstimating. They think its the throttle-body. Otherwise i wouldve been down for this meet. Until then, my dealer was nice enough to give me a 08 Bmw 328Xi to use while the Mini is being operated on

 

I'm going to stop by JP's shop and head on over with him to the Applebees meet.

Any body else? You know what they say. The more Minis the merrier.

I think I might be down in that area tonight. If so I'll def come. I've never been to a meet (at least a Mini one) and I've never met any other Mini owners personally. Now that I have my car back with the new motor I feel like a Mini owner again! lol
