For those looking for service in Chicagoland
I brought my R56 last month to have the car looked over shortly after I purchased it. It turned out my timing chain and water pump needed to be replaced. At first I thought everything was going to be an expensive nightmare, but Melvin and Anibal had a lot of patience and empathy. I had a 3rd party warranty that hadn't kicked in, but they offered me a loaner car until the warranty paperwork went through and from there they did all the work to get me back in my MINI as quickly as possible.
In the past, I was always hesitant to go to the dealership for service...but they're always running specials and discounts, and it's nice to know that there's a MINI dealership where they genuinely look out for your MINI and yourself.
However, it would be nice to see a little bit more activity from all of our dealership site sponsors.
