When Dan at GrassRoots Garage did my tech spec and race brake fluid change today he also slipped a Texas Speed Works engine damper on for me.

Wow! It has sturdy, laser cut brackets and it really takes the lash out of the engine. Throttle response is great, there's no clunk when lifting from hard acceleration.

Basically, if you're an enthusiastic driver, you need this mod! For those who can turn a wrench, (not me) it's DIY installation if you want. For me, Dan's the man!

BTW, this one even has grease fittings!

Dave is right. I put one on and it really does make shifts crisper, no engine slopping around anymore. As for NVH, I picked up a little whirring noise, but I like it. It's kind of like I can hear the cam spinning. Good mod. Get one, you'll like it.

 

Got one order from Grassroots along with headers and sway bar. Need some Chrome mods! Luke
