I like badge #1 the best. Followed by #2 then #3. They look more like "club" badges to me. #1 seems a little easier to identify and I like the checkerboard background with MINI wing. #2, I like incorporating the state flags and more colors and #3 I like the use of the old logo.

I like three, five and six. 3 would be my 1st choice. Number one looks too much like tarhell minis.

Great job on the badge concepts!
I offer the following suggestions - the outer circular text in designs 1-3 seems to me to be upside down. Could we put the MINI logo at the bottom of the circle and rotate the text 180 degrees? My favorite is #6 followed by #2 then #3.
Thanks again for the effort!

jlsg,

I want to take the time to thank you, and every/anyone else who helped, for the time and effort to make these badges. Regardless of which one is eventually selected, thanks for doing this.

Cheers!!

no thanks needed
it has been fun and my wife did most of the work!

things can change on any and all so the suggestions about moving text or logos around--no problem. And, the mention of the GA members is a good reminder but I am not sure how to work with that while we maintain the m2c2 (mini motoring club of the carolinas). but, the fact that we have some non carolinians in the bunch is a good point to keep in mind. thanks!

well, the responses have been less than overwhelming--meaning that we did not get many responses and the responses we did get are pretty evenly split between a few. the blog is still up so please encourage folks to have a look and comment. I will look into pricing and minimum orders in case we think a winning logo emerges.

We printed out the grill badge concepts and asked the people at the M2C2 Christmas Party, on the 20th, to take a look and go to NAM and make their comments. I think there were some posts to the NAM forum and not to the blog.

#6 is still in my opinion the best, but I would buy any of them to represent the club.

oh my my! I guess if I read the SECOND page of posts...I wouldn't look like such a tool! :-)

Great job on the badges! I would proudly display any of them but have posted my comments on the blog page.

Thanks to all involved!

As the rep for the "Non-Carolinians" I thank you Ruffcat and jlsg!

Hey folks
thanks for all the feed back. after the holidays, I will research some prices and update everyone. we did some auto magnets for a local school last year so I will see what the numbers were on those and see if the printer (a local business) can do smaller badges. happy holidays everyone and I will get some news going soon.

Floyd and I agree that #2 is our 1st choice with the flags worked into the emblem followed by #3 which incorporates our club logo. While it would be nice to acknowledge our Ga mini enthusiasts, we are, after all, the mini club of the Carolinas.

Still think 3 is best followed by 4, 5, and 6. Number one is liked by alot of folks, but you have to look at Tarheel Minis, and it is very similiar and we need to stay away from that. We need to be leaders not followers!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a thought from a member!
