Got a great deal on a ground effects kit

When I first decided to get a MINI, a took a trip down to Hendrick MINI to check them out, being that I have always been a VW owner, and when I saw the Blue Mini with the ground effects kit, I knew I had to get one of those if I bought a MINI.

After puchasing my MINI, I decided to get on ebay to see if anyone had any for sale. And I found one and man did I get a great deal. I bought a original MINI kit from Morris Town Mini in NJ, already painted pure silver, shipped to my door for $775.00. They were selling primed ones for 895.00, and Hendrick had a special on pure silver ones installed for $1,750.00. I should get it next week, and I can not wait to install it.

After I get it on, I am thinking about puttin on a stripe kit. Does anyone know where the best place to buy one and have it installed. I am doing the spoiler kit my self, as I used to do all of the work on my VW's, but I can not stripe very good. I tried pin striping one of my cars and it looked like a road map.

Look forward to seeing some of you responses.

Hi Eric. We met Saturday at Hendricks. Don't know if you noticed my car or not but it was electric blue with full aero kit and custom graphics. It was sitting out near the end of the parking lot. Anyway, if you're thinking about any custom graphics or pin stripping, you need to at least talk to the guy who did my work. His name is Ernie Marquez and the name of his business is e-graph tech. His website is www.egraphtech.com. There you will see other contact information. His shop is in Claremont (near Hickory) but it would be worth the drive for you. He does excellent work and he can design and do about anything you can think of. And he is very reasonable. He did all of my work for just over $200. It was the best money I've spent on my car so far in my opinion. He's done other work for our club also like the magnets we are currently selling.

If you decide to contact him, tell him Eric Sipe referred you.

Eric

Eric,

Your MINI was ssswwweeeeettt! I did really like the graphics on your car, and I may have him do something on mine. I remember seeing the lower side section of you MINI, did you have any stripes put on the bonnett and across the top of the car and down the rear hatch?

I also have my own business and I may talk to him about doing some magnetic signs that I can use on my 93 VW Eurovan, which is my business vehicle. I would like for him to maybe design something that I could use on the van, and then switch to the MINI when I am just out driving around to help advertise.

Thanks for your help.

Eric, I'm sure Ernie could design and make about anything you want. He's really good and very enthusiastic about MINIs and cars in general. He made some really good looking magnet signs for my car with the M2C2 logo on them. To answer your question, I have "Viper stripes" on my bonnet and boot but none on the top. Let me know if you decide to use Ernie and how it turns out.

Eric
