Just noticed that I picked up a screw while I was there. Looked at the car this afternoon and it was leaning. I checked the tire and found the remnants of a screw. Judging by how warn it was and how the tire was eaten away around it, I probably drove on the track with it. Scary

I had the tires rotated on Friday and checked, serviced Saturday morning and checked, and went through inspection at the track.

Needless to say, these tires will not see another track day

 

I had a great time at the track with my Mini. Major difference on the track in my Mini as opposed to my days racing bikes there. I took it easy for the most part as I was learning to read the feedback the car was giving me.

I won't be able to make it in Sept. but do plan to do it again as soon as I can.
