No problem, I enjoy driving, and it gets me out of Raleigh for a day! Since it's just me, I'll take the most direct route to the gas station. I'm assuming I'll just take exit 53A to get to this place? Do I need to make a right or left at the exit ramp? Not real familiar with Asheville, but I'll know that I'll have a good time! If there is a little more to the directions to get there, just PM me and I'll show up! Also, if there is a way to contact you if I should get lost heading up there you can PM me that info. as well. On Saturday, Sierra and I went out on a test run for a future MINI run and covered some of the same roads as Smokey's route....

You're all in for a treat!! These are some great views and twisties!!!!

I know it's past the 23rd of May, did I miss the RSVP cut off? I've just found out that is a free weekend for me and I want to come down to NC for some good motoring!!!!

I found out last night that a friend may be coming with me. I know I've missed the RSVP, but I found out yesterday that she wants to come, but the only problem is, I won't find out until the last minute. I hope that this won't be a problem. If I need to bring anything with me, just lemme know. I'll have to get a cooler though coming from Raleigh.

I am travelling all that week and wont be back into Raleigh until that afternoon. I'll see what I can do to speed up my trip to get back in time.

Just keep me posted Keith! If you can't make it, we'll see you next time around! To get there by 1:30, we'll need to leave the RDU area around 9:00 and I'm still waiting to hear if a friend of mine will be coming with me. She wants to come, but won't know until the last minute.

Bob and I are meeting at 8:30 at the Kangaroo/BP Station at Harrison Square exit 287, Harrison Ave. off 40. Once you get off at Harrison (if your heading east, I think you make a right and heading west, you'll make a left), you'll go past SAS and there is a light at the shopping Center on the right. You should see the gas station on the right when you get to the light. If you need my contact information, let me know and I'll send you a PM with it. This way if you're planning on going, but don't find out until the last minute that you can make it, you'll have a way to be able to get in touch with someone. Hope you're able to make it and motor up with Bob and I, and possibly my friend Jess will be coming back! She fell in love the MCS that Sunday!

I'm not sure if you caught the thread, but if your get together is out because of evil work, the following weekend in which you asked, June 12, there is a Charlotte Car show. I wasn't planning on going to that, but I think that there may be a lot of people that may be heading there for that. Not sure if you had to reschedule it, if June 26 may be a better date since there is a pully party going on in Apex on June 19...I'm not really sure. I don't really know if there are other things going on the 26 to interfere.

We are back on for this Saturday June 5th.

I'm heading out tonight to a fire over on the coast and will be back late Friday night and ready to motor on Saturday.
