Fall Picnic and Disc Golf Tournament Sunday October 9th
Picnic food
We've got a few volunteers that will be bringing drinks, side dishes, desserts or chips. More is needed, there are 50 of us after all.
If you could post what you'll be bringing I can add it to the sign-up sheet so we all will know what's coming. We'll be munching on subs as the main dish. Trying to run the tournament and cooking burgers/dogs won't work.

picnic seating
It'd be a good idea for everyone that have foldable chairs to bring them. The shelter has only 5 picnic tables. Parks thinks that's sufficient for 50 people.
Yeah, right!
Yeah, right!
I guess baked beans doesn't go with subs so I'll bring kitchen sink dip and some cookies.
On a side note, let's bring some canned goods to help our local food bank. We all have so much to be thankful, let's share some of our good fortune to some of those that may not have as much. Keep in mind the holidays are fast approaching! So just how much can we cram in a coupe???

Since we're already over the 50 people limitation set by the Parks people you might as well.
Of course there may some no shows, there always is.
Are you alone and are you planning on entering the tournament?

Hoped that the wife and I would be able to make it. We had friends from out of state coming to visit us with on and off plans of actually coming to charlotte to visit so we could not commit to coming to the picnic.
They did in fact come today. We may try and drop by just to show them how awesome it is to own a mini.

Thanks to all who participated today in the picnic and the tournament.
Congratulations to the winners of the tournament: Mens-Ben Diel Womens-Ann Diel and Juniors-Logan Byrum.
Special thanks:
Hendrick MINI for supplying the burgers and dogs and fixin's as well as some really nice prizes.
DDMWorks for the prizes sent by them at the last minute. The extra effort is appreciated.
All who provided more than enough food for those of us that showed up.
Luke for being chief MINI chef.
The only downside is we haven't sold enough discs to cover their cost.
All in all it was a fun event.

Wow. Wish I had known about this! Sorry to have missed it, but our group (11 MINI's) went on a fantastic drive to Brevard on Saturday.
We meet at Tony's Pizza on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30, eat at 7:00. We will be planning more drives. Come join us.
Contact me if you need more info.

Great beautiful day for golf and a picnic. Good food, fellowship but you can't really expect any less from the MINI Community! If you couldn't make it we have a drive up to the mountains in a couple weeks, keep check on the board for post. Also on FACEBOOK
