Mitm/mtts

Just curious -- Anyone going? I'm going but plans are not quite solid yet. Should arrive Tuesday (very late) or Wednesday in time for brew swap (of course). Hotfooting it back on Sunday for sure.

Mtts & Mitm

I am trying to do both starting with the sleepover in Charleston SC. Still working out the details. I really think the route stinks and that should have done it down thru Alabama, LA, MS TX NM up to CO.

I look forward to seeing you there. I think we'll get there on Wednesday afternoon before the brew swap.

O.K. After crunching the numbers and the arrival date of Friday? Well 16-18 hundred in fuel, food and lodging and arriving after MITM5 has already started, I have decided to just go to Colorado and have some fun. I really would love to MTTS but the route should have been south out thru Texas. The southern route seems to be left out each time. We have all been to Indy, St Louis and KC and there are alot of dealers in AR, LA, MS, TX, NM etc that MINI USA seems to have forgotten.

We'll see you there Wed then!

We also tried to work out travelling with the MTTS group from KC to Dodge, then going on to WP that afternoon, but that wouldn't put us in WP till about 1 am after about a 16 hour drive, plus we'd miss all the Thursday events since they don't leave KC till then; where we can drive straight from KC to WP in about 10 -11 hours and we're there. Plenty of time to rest up and get up the next morning for some MITM events and/or drives....

I don't know who does the planning for MTTS but it could use some fine tuning. I think I am going to Atlanta to Memphis to Amarillo up 278 to 50 over to Colorado Springs, hang out do Pikes Peak, Natural Gorge Bridge and other things in that area, then spend day in Denver with my bud, Mark who builds race cars for Furniture Row Racing. Then to Winter Park, hope to see everyone there and have a safe trip.

I'm leaving Monday night, to Nashville. Tuesday is hopeful to get to Salina (Braums ice cream stop) or Hays then on to WP Wednesday. Love this event. Hope to see everyone there. We do plan to hot foot it back to SC on Sunday, arriving on MOnday.
