We will also be celebrating the 50th birthday of the MINI which just happens to be today.

More MINIs are always good at a MINI birthday party. If you are sitting on the fence on this one please just show up.

 

I heard that the Chef was preparing some real special prime rib sliders, and other goodies for us. If your minis clean bring it if its dirty bring it just come!

I did great in school, but I wasn't there everyday if you get my drift!

 

We had a nice turnout with a dozen or so Minis supplemented by some friends of George Kail and the Speedway Club. Got to present our donation of $1,000 to Speedway Childrens Charities directly to Gen. (ret) Sadler.

 

Yes great turn out and glad that Chris a founding member of our club who has just moved back into the area came in his 1975 Mini. The food was good the drink always great on warm eveing. I got to meet Major General (Retired) Tom Sadler and at 84 he is going strong. Nice to see George Kail and I know he wants another Mini. He really misses the club, but he is a honorary member for sure. Thanks to all who came out and the ones who didn't make it maybe next time. I forgot the camera so someone please post some pics.

I am working on getting M2C2 to get a couple of paced laps around LMS in your MINIs this fall. I will keep you posted.
