Greenville Photoshoot Anyone?
Haha your dark roof and pillars are hard to light. Ill definitely get better pictures next time, we'll have to do your mini before it gets too dark. I'm still learning about off camera flash and I've only shot white cars so far. I love the colors of yours though!
My jet black car with dark wheels won't show up at all
I almost want to get a tint job before the shoot so that my car can be seen in the pictures as the void of light shaped like a MINI.

You could be Black Hole MIINI!
Wish I could be there, but Im on an internship in PA. I love photography, and shooting my MINI, but I dont have quite the equipment you do. Just a Nikon D40 and a tripod.
Good luck with the design career, I started out on that path but I know am into the more technical part of the Graphic Arts industry in Commercial printing.
BTW I am pretty sure I know that guy on the motorcycle in the first post, does he go to North Greenville

Alright Saturday weather is looking great, everything should hopefully work out smooth. A group from UpstateMini's will be meeting at Cherrydale shopping center which is close by to eat at possibly frodo's pizza or some new mexican place. There's quite a few places to eat right there, but that will be at 3PM. I'm not quite sure the details of that situation yet but everyone should be gathering at the CVS at the base of the mountain around 5PM.
Remember, here is the website with all the maps and details. (864)-six.four.zero-nine.six.eight.one is my cell if you need help or something Saturday. (Spelled out to stop the spambots)
Also, my friend from Lander who drives the white supra pictured will most likely be tagging along with me to help with lighting and such. He is currently taking a photography class at school, and he can nail some perfect shots too.
Now everybody get your MINI's washed and waxed up over the next two days to be ready to shine on Saturday!

Awesome! I'll probably try to be at the base in my Jeep around 15 minutes early (4:45) incase people show up early. The crowd eating at cherrydale at 3 might arrive a little early, I'm not sure.
Well it was a blast for those who were able to make it out. It was pretty much me and the Upstate group, but we had fun none-the-less. Hopefully we'll have pics up soon.
Thanx again to Thomas for being our designated photographer!

Link to set!
Whew, I finally did it. A few excruciating hours rendering HDR's and editing almost every shot on my outdated Mac mini almost sent me over the edge. 4 months til Macbook Pro time and I could accomplish all that work in an hour or less.
Here's a few examples of the good stuff:

Make sure you check the first link to see all 39 pictures, and you can download the original size by clicking all sizes, then original.

I can't wait to do it again. More alley ways would be real cool. There is another garage beside Falls Park and the suspension bridge downtown that is free on weekends as well. When I get my MINI, I will be out sooting every week haha.
Here are my pics. First 3 pages are from the shoot.

Where were you? You missed both a great time on Paris Mountain and a fantastically long autocross. The course was slightly over a mile long!
