Oh yeah! Congrats to you Chad on winning the best improved time out of the 8 finalists.
I'll have to see if Chris got any photos, I was busy with the video camera.

Thanks....I didn't get a chance to take any pictures this weekend, just too busy, so any footage, pics, etc... would be great.

About the event, even though I think I may have posted just as fast of lap times as anyone out there...I may have had an advantage in winning the contest. Being my car is a Justacooper, the dead start 1 lap for me is a disadvantage due to my car being so underpowered and I was lucky to have even gotten into the bracket. I had just blistered a tire right before the 1 lap and the Kumho tires on the rear were really cold...I was slipping and sliding all over the place trying to put together a good lap. Now to the point...if I had a disadvantage for the standing start lap, I have an advantage for any improvement in lap time( I only had to start from a stop one time), and once I got rolling on the track was pretty fast. So my time dropped dramatically...an 8 second difference from my and the next car. I think the formula was take your standing start lap time and multiply it by the the number of laps that were in the shootout and compare the difference of your actual time to take that number of laps and my time was 1:09 different.

Anyway, it felt very smooth out there....lots of fun...Bruce even told me I was #1 with a certain finger one time(I was told by Chris Deal). Bruce was a Riot...I was given a point by one time on the straights and then he blows my doors off.

2 cars out there at a time splitting the track would probably have been more realistic for raw lap times though since you couldn't pass in the corners.

Chad,
Thanks again for the help in diagnosing my fuel problem and thank Brad again for the fuel. Too bad I forgot to switch off the DSC.
