RMW Dyno Tune in Thomasville, NC
I wont be able to for a while, my computer with editing software is in the shop and I wont get it back till after my move. so give me a few weeks and i will get it up.
Hi all,
I enjoyed meeting all of you and hanging around Friday and Saturday. It is good to put faces with the screen names. I hope everyone arrived home safe and sound.
I apologize to everyone for the printing problems on the dyno. Some of the runs were not saved and cannot be reprinted.
Jan is a first class act. As the dyno owner, it was a special (and rare) pleasure to work with someone that could sit with quiet pride and let his products and services do the talking. Instead of making outrageous claims and excuses, he makes horsepower. Simply put; RMW's products work. I vote with my wallet, and my future purchases will be made with Jan. Oh hey, thanks for the window sticker!
Everyone spent the better part of two days smiling, having fun, and talking about their cars. I don't think that I have ever met a group of owners that enjoy their autos more, regardless of marque.
I would like to thank everyone involved, especially Jose, who worked harder than me. He and I raced each time to change cars. I think I had it down pat by the time the last car came off the dyno. Ha ha.
BTW, Jan found 10+ftlbs everywhere for me and cured a lean condition that has concerned me for a year. With my modest mods I now have 197rwhp and 177ftlbs. Thanks Jan!

I had a blast and hopefully will get some photos posted soon. I am exhausted. I also can't thank Dan from Grassroots enough for saving Tüls and I from sleeping under an overpass :P and El Griton enough for the ride home...hopefully his ears aren't bleeding from me talking too much! Those two are AWESOME!!!
Little Jack, Grassroots Dan has your injectors. Mike decided not to go for them. So get in touch with Dan. I believe he said that he would mail them back unless he has a need for them.
You car did awesome dude! I wished that I could drive it for you seeing that you will have to wait patiently. You can't let the carbon buils up on those pistons now!!! My ears are still ringin!!!!

OK Guys, I have not been checking the posts over the last few days, but I am so glad that everybody made it and left happy. One thing I realised, is that it is not all about the numbers but the shape of that dang torque curve!!!!
My car pulled like a steam train with 3 grown lads in the car. When I dropped Jan off at the airport on Sunday morning, it was only my big butt in the seat and it is awesome!!!!
I was stopped a light with a Mustang rolling on up. The light turned green when he was 3 car lengths of me. He got on it and I still left him for dead!!!
Snyper I was most impressed with the hp/tq your coop laid down. The improvement in your tq curve was crazy with the mods you had.
Before I go any further, I just want to thank everybody for being stand up guys and all getting together on this, because without you we would have not been able to make this happen. Andy and Dave and SpeedWerks for hosting us and keeping the doors open until late to get us done. You guys were really cool. Jan, for giving up his weekend to get us all tooned. I have never seen anyone this determined, passionate and proffessional, not to mention hardworking. He would not quit untill the cars were running correctly with safe AFR's and at there best. Andy from Speedwerks who worked tirelessly at getting the cars set up. We were both hurting come Saturday but I think we did pretty good for a bunch of pencil pushers. We overcame the challenging heat and made some good numbers despite the ambients.
It was good to see some old friends and make some new ones. All I wanted to get out of this was an RMW tune and I ended up getting so much more. I had fun and y'all rock.
I have not gotten to bed before 2:30-3:00am since Wednesday evening, I am feeling whupped. Midnight tonight sounds early.
Guys, enjoy the Coops. I know that I am....I will once I back out my rear sway bar. I am way loooose right now. I have puckered up once or twice already and and running out of clean breeches-LOL
Thanks guys!

No, a big thanks to you! You and Dave were gracious hosts. I did not realize the amount of work that went into this and you stepped up to the plate. I had a great time! Now, I need to get my hands on one of those Porches!!!!
Thank You!

You guys have taken all the words right out of my mouth. It was an Excellent weekend, every car saw gains, some more inpressive than others, but the learning experience was priceless. While my own car only made modest gains, the driveability has been restored and it no longer chokes when I gas it, and the 3100 RPM flat spot is gone. The torque curve for the cars with Jans Trifecta (head, cam, header) were nothing short of amazing, the power came on early and did not drop off, AT ALL. Eepers car pulls like freight train.
I too would like to thank Jan for his hard work, he is a true artist. Dave and Andy @ Speedwerks for their hard work and long hours, and Jose for bringing it all together (oh, and your hard work too
)
Tuls and Stoopidgirl, I guess you guys made it home it OK. Thanks for coming, you guys are awesome. Too bad we were in so late and out so early, would have been nice if we had a chance to hang with my family, my kids are cool, they would like you.

Looking for photos and Vids, as usual forgot my camera. Thanks to everyone who helped me get my car in and dyno. Had some awsome gains in torque of 7.9 lbs and WHP gain of 9.5 to 195.2hp and finally found out that all the service engine lights and faults were the CAT. So getting that replaced this friday and Jan said it should be over 200 then. Tulls &Emily glad to see you made it home, need any help you got my number. Thanks to Jan and the Speedwerks Shop and everyone involved in putting this together and making it a blast. I tried to sit and watch but had to move some and still paying for that! Thanks to everyone for being very welcoming and helpful. Even though I came from 5hours away everyone made me feel like i was right at home. Unfortunately, the GF didnt charge her batteries on her camera, so i only got 1 picture and a few short clips of my dyno runs.
HAHA, I DID! i asked her when we were leaving... "Did you charge the batteries in the camera?" she said "Yes." so i left it at that.....big mistake. Turns out "yes", in female, really means... "Yes, I charged the batteries over a month ago before our trip to NYC." dah well...i'll post my one picture and the video of my dyno run when i get home from work.
EDIT
Turns out my work decided to unblock eBay and youtube...sweet..
this was a pic that i snapped as i was leaving..
