Seriously?!! There's no entrance fee? My dad has entered cars before and told me he thought it might be quite a bit! Happy to hear he's wrong -- it doesn't happen all that often!
Comet 5o4 you can probably get out for 30 bucks give or take a couple, just depends on what you order. Its great atmosphere and you can see the whole track down below. Its something that you need to do at least once. I go every year and its a little expensive but I have been to more expensive and lousy atmosphere.
MiniRee thats right no cost to enter Car Show as we are invited as a Club. There alot of Clubs on the standby list to get into Saturdays show. Its an Honor for us and the Trophies are given out by the Speedway. Looks like me Doc & Lilruffcat will have breakfast covered. If you can't wait til Speedway Club at 6 they have food vendors all over the track. Also bring a chair and light jacket incase its chilly or windy. Hopefully we will get our same location and if it rains, we are under the cover and not out in the open. This is a rain or shine event.

I see we still have a few spots open, I can't give you a definite yet, but I have a fellow club member up here who may be able to come. I think a few of you met him at the Greenville/Asheville club drive to Black Mtn last fall, his name is Larry and he has a MCS-GP. He said he was interested, but not sure as to his schedule yet. I don't know if you can hold a spot for him or not. I'll keep on him about it and see let you know when I do.
I just mailed my M2C2 application yesterday, so I guess I'm an imminent member. Not sure if you have any Clubmans amongst the 18 AutoFair spots so far. If you'd like one, I'm interested. But mine's stock, just driven off the Hendrick lot on Monday. I've got to recover from the initial outlay before modding. Cheers,
