QUARTERLY MEETING MARCH 15 COLUMBIA SC
Hi guys,
The weather did get pretty rough on the drive back to Greenville. I pulled off for a while at the rest area near Jalapa. Very heavy rain and HAIL! No damage to LucyGoose, thankfully! I got home safe and sound in what was the slowest drive back from Columbia I've ever done.

We made it back ok. Did get a little hairy there until we got out of the Columbia area, which did have a tornado warning. Didn't have any hail though. Hope you all make it back home safe.
HoooWeee that was a fun drive back! All I can say is thank goodness for DSC. Once I made it through the worst of it, or maybe it was between . . . I don't know, I saw a car in the opposite lane flipped over. It looked like everyone was alright but once past I started seeing the usual police, ambulance, etc headed in.
No hail here, good thing I didn't wash Ferris yesterday though.
You're excused this time but you'll have to make the GVL waterfall run next weekend. Ferris and Ramona need to see each other again now that they're off the boat.

Glad you guys made it back o.k. yes my stability control light was on and off and felt a little nudge in the steering wheel but made it back with heavy rain, no hail or high winds. John Abel, and H.A.W.G you didn't sign the list and I did not include you in the minutes - my bad! as Doc would say. Sorry about that I know we had more than 21 people and until I saw Chris photo's above knew who I left out> Glad everyone came and we had good meal and of course Starbucks afterwards. We had 6 officers and 17 members present. We missed all of you that could not make it and hope to see you soon at a MINI event. I would have stayed longer but I got thirsty. Thanks again for making this one great club. Geekswrath glad to finally meet you and hope to see you again soon. Luke, Prez

Well, we all pooled our money and were able to bail trace and carol out of the slammer after an altercation at walmart at 2am. If you ever want to see the 'perks' that Columbia has to offer, just see carol lol! We had a great time and can't wait to see everyone again at the auto fair. Hopefully we can keep the other 2 out of jail next time!

Great pictures Trace!! I relived our wonderous weekend and laughed all over again. I haven't had as much fun (or been in as much trouble) in 40 years! I'm definitely regressing. How great is that? ...and to top it all off, I got a great mod-lighting job so I'm ready for the dragon. Many, many thanks. I love you all!
