Ther should be a AUTOBELL somewhere in the area. They do a good job and won't hurt the Mini, had to use it several times as we can't wash cars (water restriction) in Charlotte.

 

Anyone wanting to go down together Saturday morning please post. I will not be able to lead you all down as I will already be there. You guys will have to get together with each other. Luke

Breakfast sounds like a good idea! Most of us are coming from out of town, so you suggest something and we'll see what everyone wants to do!

 

ok well here's my best idea.

meet up on the 4th floor of the parking deck between 7:30-7:45
walk to eat breakfast, be done around 9:00-9:30 (they're a busy place) then roll out to the show


parking deck (entrance to garage is on 3rd street I believe)

That sounds good to me....we're staying at a hotel on Market St. so we shouldn't be too far away from there...I hope...lol (never been there) I will call a few people from our club who I know are coming and let them know.

StoopidGirl... that's waaaaaay early!! I went to the dinner tonight and met some of the club folks. Good bunch! I'm excited! I'm not sure how early I'll get up in the morning, but I'll head for the Dixie Grill, hopefully get there while all you guys are still there.

 

yeah it's way early...I seriously need a cup of coffee. I guessed at the time, I didn't know when everyone wanted to roll into the show.

Great meeting everyone. Turned into a really beautiful day but we didn't see charlie, alot of signs posted not to feed him. First time meeting Scavenger, Stoopid and Tuls, and you all Rock! Yes indeed it was awesome meeting everyone. I do wish there were more MINIs ibn Wilmington that were on here. They all look at me like I'm crazy when I wave.
Anyway, I had my camera on me all day but I was a slacker right up until the very end when I snapped these shots of Alan's MINI.

 

Those are some great shots.. did you get any pics of any of the other British attendees?

I'd intended on making the trip, but we're under a no-car-washing restriction here ($200 fines are being doled out in droves), and believe me, 250 round trip miles of bugs and road grime would have required a good post show washing.
