My r56 has piston slap all the time and is very audible at idle. I’m wondering if this will lead to the cylinder walls getting scored or if they are already scored. Car had 160k miles and has sounded like this the whole time I’ve had it. Timing chain is new, belt is new, water pump pulley and friction wheel are new, and full of fresh oil.
