Thanks for the post slimjimtell! Today I was on the phone with the city, Edison, the electrical contractor, and MINI's general contractor for the charging boxes trying to sort my own situation out, so all I can say is welcome to our world!

I was also on the phone today with my local SCE rep trying to get them to put in the TOU meter housing before the SunPower guys come out for the city inspection. For some reason she thought I was getting a whole new circuit box and meter installed. I was able to email Todd's pictures of his install to her, and she realized all I needed was an "adapter" installation and piggy-back meter. They still don't want to put it in before the ctiy inspection is done, so the SunPower guys are probably going to have to come out at least two more times
