What is the right way to add pic's to a post?

The two posts I did recently (i.e. NAV/BT screen shots and Gotham Grey)
appeared fine on my end but several replies said the images weren't there.
When I viewed my post from my personal laptop they didn't appear for me
either. So I re-posted (copy/paste) the pics and then they were viewable.
However when I went to look again via my work laptop the images were not
there?

Is it a hardware issue (which I doubt) or is it something I'm doing (which is most likely!)

From the NAC/BT thread it looks like you are uploading your images to a Yahoo gallery and then linking to them. Is that right?

How to you obtain the URL to the individual image?

Some services like that don't allow direct links to images. I don't know about Yahoo.

I have my own web site, so I just upload images there, click the little Insert Image button here on NAM and paste in the URL. I believe you can upload images to your NAM gallery and link from there. You might try that.

 

I'd use a photohosting service, such as the free one available at photobucket.com .
