I'm just covering my A$$, nfo. If the dealer can't find/fix the stalling problem, I want a new car. I sent a lemon law letter to MINIUSA yesterday and in NJ, they have 10 days to repair the vehicle after they receive the letter. It only applies to problems that jeopardize your safety (ie. stalling while driving). Bucking like a rodeo star qualifies if it also inhibited your ability to brake. I can just imagine how your "white stallion" looked bucking to and fro (sorry that I find your analogy funny, but we gotta keep a sense of humor about these things). You might want to check out the lemon laws in your state before you give the dealer a chance to fix it. In NJ, it's after the 3rd service visit for the same safety issue that you can write the lemon law letter and then you must give them one more shot at fixing the problem.
Good luck, maybe we need to start a broken CVT club.
