R56 Maker of MINI OEM Cover
I have to try and answer that one....
(this is not based on fact)
From my experience, OEM stuff is more expensive than comparable aftermarket stuff. The OEM cover is $200. This would lead me to believe that you could get the same cover (made by the same company) for around $150 or so.
Considering that there are covers out there that are over $300, i would say that the OEM one is on the low end.
I am looking at one that is $269. The Weathershield by Covercraft. But since i am not taking the car to work until i have one, i dont want to wait a month for them to make it and ship it!

I bought the mini car cover from outmotoring for $199. It's made of NOAH material. I bought the OEM car cover because I wanted something that fit tight and was afraid that 3rd party covers would be a looser, generic fit. There is no indication who manufactures it that I can see. It is worth every penny.
