Has ANYONE GOT ANY DEALER TO COME OFF A PRICE OF A MINI?

I know all the Mini Dealers near me will not come off the their prices on the MIni's. Also got a friend who is interested in the Mini S. Does not want much bells on it. They want an automatic with the leatherette seat. What drive out price do you think they can get.
I know my Mini which is not a an S was a little over 23, 000.00 and that was not including tax, title and lic.

Thanks for Your input.

MSRP and a set of free floormats seems to be the best anyone can do on an R56 but if you can find any 2006 R53s, especially the convertibles, there are some fairly large discounts on them. Check these threads out:

Yeah they threw in floor mats with mine
Like I said my friend is looking for 2007 Mini S automatic with the leatherette seats not alot of bells on it. What type of drive out do you think she can get?
I got lots of bells on mine and doubt I will ever use them all.

I got a lot of options on my R56 S. I got it with Sport, Premium, and Cold Weather Packages and got $500 bucks knocked off from MSRP and got the floormats thrown in. The dealer I went to is really good

Watch out for "processing fees," "document fees," or things like that. It's a sneaky way to get past MSRP. Mine was only $50--I think that's reasonable. And I did get floor mats (and a jack and lug wrench, which didn't come with my week 3 build).

I was able to get $1,000 off MSRP with no tricky fees - most dealers were willing to knock off at least $500. I also got a money factor of .00285 on a lease (with 38% residual). It seems that the West coast still has tough pricing, but you can definitely get a deal on an 07 on the East coast - just need to call around

MSRP and no free mats, but they don't add processing fees or prep fees.

Geez, where are you people buying your cars and why can't they build a dealership like that where I live? Had to go to two dealers before I could get MSRP...

Yes - a very well equiped pre-ordered 07. Dealers in NY / NJ seem to have a lot of stock on their lots. I only found one dealer not willing to negotiate.

I got mine from Bill Jacobs BMW in Naperville. They're pretty good as long as you don't look overeager. Always remember, you can always go somewhere else if they don't give you what you want. Be firm!

I hope you meant 62% residual! 38% sounds like what you'd get on a domestic car! (terrible)

4 year lease?

if you meant 68% then I'd think it was a 3 year lease.

Rats that what I get from living in Texas. LOL
For I have not found any dealer here that would come off the price of a Mini. But that okay for I just purchased my second one a little over week ago.

Yes, 68% on a 3 year lease at 15000 miles. I spazzed a bit there.

Thank you for your info and advise. May I ask if you got your MCS in their "lot" or did you pre-order ??

Thanks again.

here is texas they are surprisingly selling like hot cakes (hey its a big truck only type of state lol)

best i was able to do was sticker, they must have sold 8 to 10 mini's while I was negotiating the price, so no luck on doing much better then that yet.

hell, even the used mini's are fetching quite a lot of money.

Best deal

I want to share with you guys a great experience I had with mini of the Hamptons. (I am one of those guys stuck on the west coast where prices are above MSRP.) I looked all over the country for a good deal, focusing on supporters of NAM. I even got my father-in-law to wring concessions from a dealer he knows in the Chicago area. The best deal by far was from Mini of the Hamptons, which agreed to ship my car across the country for less than the total cost of shipping. And the car was at MSRP. And they threw in some goodies. And the MA, Jerry, has been outstanding.

My only problem now is that I will have to ship the car back across the country for regular service. Oh, well, I needed an excuse for a road trip!

You're joking about the warranty work, right?
