JCW wheels are on...

Well my 18" John Cooper Works wheels and tires showed up today. I had to put them on as soon as I got home from work. Now I just need to lower her an inch and do the rear swaybar and she will be ready for some more fun.
Anyway, here are a couple pics..

very nice. i just bought mine today at Long Beach MINI. Almost bought them at Morristown MINI but got them for the same price at the dealer and not have to deal with shipping and shipping insurance.
Well all i have to do now is wait for my car.

I think that is one of the nicest wheels made for the Cooper. I've always wanted a set. Nice car.

HDMLNIUM,

Love the black R105s on the DS/B. I am saving up for the same wheels on my DS/B! Did you install the "required" steering angle stops? If not, are you getting any rubbing, and if you did, how did it effect your turning radius?

Also, what size and brand of tires are you running?

Thanks for the help and post more pics!

TomB

Sweet looking setup! I just put mine on Thursday night. I Got mine through my dealer at a better price than I could get through Classic or Morristown as well.....I went with PS2s instead of of the Dunlops though.

I'm running JCW suspension; it's lower than the DS car but obviously not as low as the PW car, but I'm not running the steering angle stops and they don't rub even on full lock...

I'm running M7 springs and didn't use the "bump stops". I get zero rub.
