Finding Center Line of car

Hello All,
Just wondering if anyone knows what the best way to find the center line of the car. I would like to adjust my alignment the old way and need to find the center. Also can anyone give me some tips on how to make this as easy as possible. Thanks for any replies!

its confusing at first, but you could run parrallel fishing line down the outside of your car. Measuring off the rim to assure they are straight. Just remember that on toe out you want a bigger number in the back, not on the front of the wheel. My experience is as yours, the old way from the center. It took me forever to get used to it while doing alignments on my friends and then my car. Easier than finding the center also. He had a killer jig made up that bolted to the car to make it really easy, but not required if only doing it once (sure was nice tho). You may want to consider that way. Was really easy once i got used to the numbers being backwards...
