Old thread keeps showing up in "new posts" list?

I've seen this happen before, but not with this thread. This time, it's the Poll: Mushrooming/strut mount failure data collection thread that's doing it. It shows up in the list when I click on "new posts", with a "last post" time of 7:45 pm today, with the author being 72guy.

But when I click on the thread, the newest post is 72guy's post from March 17th.

The same thread has done this for me several times today (showing up in the "new posts" list, with a very-recent "last post" time), but there's nothing new in the thread.

Maybe someone voted in the poll in the thread, and that's what brought it back to the top?

Could very well be - I can't remember if the other thread I saw doing this was a poll or not. I do remember that the other thread was a "sticky" as well.
If it's getting moved into the "new posts" list every time someone votes, it's interesting that it would keep using the username of the last person that voted, rather than the name of the voter.

If I'm not mistaken voting in the poll does update the thread to indicate a new post. Not very intuitive in my opinion but likely something that vBulletin will address in a future release.

I have also witnessed the poll-vote behavior do the same thing - update the thread date, still appearing to be done by the last poster. That's definitely the issue here.
