R56 Smokey Exhaust?
Smokey Exhaust?
Picked up Emma yesterday afternoon and on the drive home she had smoke coming from the exhaust pipe? My husband is a bit concerned and wanted me to ask the gang here if they have seen it before. It may be just part of the break in process? I haven't seen any comments on the boards about smoke.
She's a manual COOPER (not S) with 3 miles at delivery. Smoke was apparently pretty noticeable the first few miles-(city streets), but subsided a bit on the 37 mile ride home-(Interstate). He says, "It looks like motorcycle exhaust."
(I can't see it--I'm DRIVING and SMILING!

Emma Peel--the Avengers? (Yeah, I am old enough to remember the show)
Her name was going to be Emily Jean (the daughter we never had), but while at Disney's Animal Kingdom in late March, an English family was nearby and their little girl was named Emma. It just hit me that Emma was far more British. Also could lead to a greater choice in personalized plates.

No LSD---Just DSC with the Sport Package.
I'm not planning of being crazy with her. We do have incrediable rain here and I've lost one car to hydroplaning so I've learned to slow down and, gosh, even get off the road if it is too bad. (Our afternoon showers last all of 20 minutes but can dump 2 inches in that time.)
