I'm looking at buying an 06 MINI S convertible. The ad says it has cruise, but there are no controls on the steering wheel. Where are the cruise controls located? Anyone?
I dunno for sure but I think if the controls are not on the steering wheel that the MINI doesn't have cruise control. In my '05 the 4 buttons to the right of the horn operate the cruise.
Maybe it has "Hillbilly cruise control"... Was there a brick on the drivers' side floor? Maybe a 2.5 foot piece of dowel to jam between the seat and gas pedal?
cruise control is a four-way pad on the right spoke of the steering wheel. Looks like a nintendo controller. Identical to the one on the left spoke, which controls the stereo.

Cruise was standard on my '06 cabrio.
All true . . . except it's not standard -- so don't expect it in every cabrio. Multi-function 3-spoke steering wheel is a stand-alone option or part of premium package.
