can anyone show me where on the eng. to install the elec. wiring on my 05 mini s for water temp. geauge and oil pressure?

 

I added an elec VDO oil pressure and oil temp. Purchased the stock wiring harness from Mini but purchased the other parts from SummitRacing and www.helix13.com which is in Phila. You need an adapter between the stock oil sender which is the part I purchased from Helix.

You'll have to add one additional wire from the sending unit to the gauge. The instructions from Mini for the stock gauges (below the switch pack) is wrong. Power (fused wire) goes to the cig lighter and the gray/red wire goes to the lighting
