Need Color Advice
Here's the dilema. My favorite color is Sparkling Silver with black top and bonnet stripes. The problem is my favorite interior is Tuscan Beige with the Piano black and English Oak dash. I know a black interior would go with the silver, but that's a distant second choice. I know one of the blue paints would go with the beige but I really like the S. Silver. So how bad do you think the Sparkling Silver would look with the Beige interior? OK? Not terrible? Terrible? Yuk? Induce vomiting and call the poison center?
To complicate things, I really don't care for the Redwood Leather Lounge because it's ORANGE!!!
Thanks in advance for being gentle,
Fred

Here are some pictures of Sparkling Silver with beige leather:

WOW, you all are making me feel better about this. I thought with this color combination I would be shunned from the forum.

I agree, the Sparkling Silver is a warm color, so should be fine with tan.
If it was Pure Silver or Dark Silver, that would be a different matter. They are cool to neutral and would probably look odd with tan.

Try to see this combination at your dealership. Color choices are very personal. Computer color combinations using html and on line photos help, but should not be relied upon for more than a cursory look. Be aware that the beige goes with cream colorline.
The MINI style police don't allow certain exterior/interior combinations (e.g., Mellow Yellow exterior with Redwood Red Loung Leather interior); they've already ruled out all the truly puke-inducing combinations. If you can pick a Sparkling Silver/Beige combination in the configurator, it's met their acceptability test. For what it's worth.
Sorry, silver and tan DO NOT go together, check out the Mazda Miata in silver w/ tan top and interior
The black/carbon leatherette or black Loungewood matches the top and stripes, a no brainer in my book....go for it

Regarding the BRG MINI with the red interior, red and green as a color combination seems to be disliked in the USA (and perhaps Europe), but is rather popular in other countries such as Guatemala, and Japan. Perhaps we are too influenced by the Christmas connotations.
I like that Sidewalk enough it allmost had me considering a convertible for a fraction of a second. It looks great.
The silver and Tuscan Beige pictured above was definatly different. You won't see one on every corner and if you like it, that's all that matters. Heck, I LOVE the Redwood Red lounge leather... and actually wish it was a bit MORE orange. So to each his own, right?

Sparkling Silver is not in any sense of the word, silver. I have it with grey interior. If I wasn't so frugal I'd have it with beige interior and wood trim.
