Mine typically shows 500+ when I fill it up, then drops like a rock. 320 is what I normally get out of a tank.

Same here. I've had it read 537 after fillup - apparently when the tank is half full, it's REALLY full, and when it's half empty, it's REALLY empty. The OBC gets more pessimistic as the tank drains.
I did get my first 400+ mile tank on the way to AMVIV, but I was stuck in traffic for the last few miles, and sweating it...

Same hear....
At AMVIV, I filled up in Vegas, drove 60mi to Pahrump (Phil Wicks Track Day), at the end of the track sessions the OBC range was 70mi to empty? By the time I got back to the Palace Station it was 95mi to empty..... Got to love watching it go up instead of down.

My '03 MC used to give me readouts of over 40 mpg on the current conservation setting, and I'd often get close to or over 400 miles on the range. However, w/ my '06 JCW S, I'm usually around 240-260 in range, and rarely much above 21 mpg on conservation. The way this car is driven, I'm not all surprised .
