Las Vegas, CA. (April 2, 2007) -- Canyon Motorsports, headed by super racer Bob Scheer is on the warpath. With tons of MINI Coopers carving the tracks of America, THIS driver has done some serious spanking. He has now partnered with Torrance, CA. Performance Experts FIREBALLED! RACING to design and develop a technical advisory program.
On the heels of racing USTCC at Thunderhill Raceway earlier in March, “Canyon Bob Scheer” managed to qualify second & podium third (also awarded Best Rookie trophy & the G-TECH “Best Move of the Race Award”).
He then skirted to Vegas this last weekend to race in the North American Mini Cooper Challenge. There he qualified first on pole & set a smokin’ all time MINI lap record at Spring Mountain Motorsport Ranch. Canyon Bob has a tremendous driving history that spans over a decade with several road racing points championships. Mr. Scheer and Fireballed! are well on their way to becoming the number one MINI contenders on the planet.
“Nothing pleases me more than breaking new ground with the Fireballed! crew,” says Canyon Bob. “Hubie and the boys will help me to take MINI to a new level of racing glory.”
Not only has Canyon partnered with Fireballed! for their design and performance expertise, they’ve developed tech analysis using their racing programs as a benchmark for products. Translating that “race tested proof” to products for the everyday consumer. Our MINI’S serve as a test bed allowing us to test the endurance of new product designs in an environment that only professional racing can provide. With Fireballed! in his pocket, Bob’s MINIs may only be viewed from the rear by most drivers.
