I am picking up my new R56 S MINI today and was just curious how long the MINI's last. Kind of a weird question, but I keep hearing of people who are trading in their cars after a year or two and was curious of how long the expected lifespan is on these "new" MINI's. Can I expect to get the six years of use out of the MINI that I am expecting to get?

 

I got 6 years out of my Vega. I don't think you have to worry.

 

Not really worried, more of a curiousity. But thanks none the less!

My 2002 MINI looked and felt new till the day I sold it last month. I am sure it could go another five years easily. I just really wanted an S, and liked the idea of the turbo. So far, I am enjoying my decision immensely.
