Tracking my MINI!

Hi there - anyone have any words of advice on the most accurate way to track my ordered MINI? The website is telling me it is "Scheduled for production" but the phone line is telling me "production is complete and is waiting to be released to the carrier"

Does anyone have any advice as to which is more accurate, or how long this whole process should take before i get my MINI... I'm in NJ!

Thanks!

I would call up ASK-MINI and speak to customer relations to get the most up to date info. The second-best would be the automated system and the oldest info would be on the Owners Lounge.

I ordered mine on 3/9 and there are a bunch of us with completed cars in the Week 13 thread. Just curious from your other post, did you end up ordering from Princeton?

Cheers!

I did end up ordering from Princeton, mostly out of convenience, in all honestly. I live only about 20 minutes from there, as opposed to a good hour from Morristown. I ordered it the first weekend in March and was told I'd have May delivery, so of course gorgeous days like today have me thinking, "where's my MINI convertible!!!!"

BTW Michelle, if your Mini is coming to the West Coast, don't freak if you can't find it on the W&W website. Their ships rarely deliver to the West Coast. Your MA will be able to tell you the name of the ship your Mini is on, then it's just a bit of detective work to get it's sailing schedule, etc.

I was able to watch the ship with Gromit transit the Panama Canal over their webcam. I found out what that ship looked like, the color scheme, and when she was transiting the locks. Then watched the webcam that day on my computer at work (just kept the image of the webcam in the corner of the screen). I even did a few image captures of the event.

She is coming to NJ! I've read the east coast cuts out some serious wait time, so i'm feeling even a little bit lucky for once to live on the east! :-)

So W&W may be carrying your car! Have you gone to the W&W site to enter your VIN to see if it's loaded up yet?

So then you can find out the four letter call sign of the carrier, and actually track the carrier.

Ah, that was a fun, excruciating time.

I have tried the W&W site, and nothing yet! They sure know how to make you anxious by letting you know every excruciating step!!!
