Hey Guys anyone know of someone selling Classic Minis in the New Jersey area???

 

Where are you located? How much do you want to spend? What kind of condition are you looking for? What kind of classic Mini? Also, do you know what you are looking at when you look at a classic Mini? Do you know where to look for the typical rust and problem areas?

We (the Mini Owners of NJ car club) suggest that you take someone that is experienced with you if you aren't sure. That's what the club is here for - to help you. The "grey" market has presented a lot of classic Minis that are advertised as something they are not. You have a right to know what you are buying so you know how to fix it. A car titled as a "1979" Mini that is really a "1999" Mini and needs special software to fix is something to be aware of.

A good contact in NJ is Pete Cosmides in Moorestown, NJ. Pete has been into Minis for years. He can help you with your purchase and also is a great mechanic to help you keep it on the road. His reach info is:
