A few of us are talking about a weekend MOD party, SAT or SUN, in April or May.

If you would like to work on your MINI, with friends to help, or detail it or just hang out and get your hands dirty please post below. If you want to work on your MINI, please post what and how involved you can be.

No work for me. Just to hang out for a bit.

 

I'd be in for this - I'd like to maybe get an M7 strut bar brace on, as well as have someone show me how to properly lube my Alta sway bar bushings. I'd host it but I have a single car garage and a pretty tight driveway in Wicker Park - we'd have to hire a valet from one of the restaurants around the corner .

The Apr. 21's weekend is the only bad one for me.

 

28th or 29th of April would work for me. Just before heading down to the Dragon.

I should get my schedule early next week. So far seems like I can lend a hand with most things and chat with Paul, we'll just wait and see what I'm doing for mods and which date I get off.

 

I can put that in at your house in ten minutes next time I am in the neighbor hood, if you want.

 

Muhuhaha ... Exactly!! And a bit on the selfish side. I return home that week (I could bring back small Japanese MINI mods anyone??) I think I could sneak away for a few hours on Sunday. I always seem to be out of town on when there's a mod party!

a friend bought one for her brother for Xmas and he loves it. I've been reading up on it lately and I like the flexibility it has to support many file types AND you're supposed to be able to load your recorded TiVo to it also. Plus.. I just want to be different

I doubt I'd be modding my MINI, but I would like to get a bit more familiar with the insides. Plus, if detailing is to be found, I'd love to learn how to keep my car shiny and new!

Green Machine?? I had one when I was a kid Loved it!

Many file types... lets see there's MP3 and ... MP3 But the ability to load tivo videos is very cool You'll have to demo it after you buy it. You'll bring it with you to the Dragon??

It's $200 on Amazon and BestBuy.com right now... I'll probably get it soon so I can start loading it with music for the Dragon... here's what it can play:

thanks for the offer.. but my brother was farting around on my pc and did something to it. I logged into iTunes and everything was gone (and I didn't back-up...I know, I know...)

I picked up the zen vision:m yesterday and started loading all of my cd's to it . 700 songs so far.. only 4 Gb used... oh my

does anyone use limewire for music downloads???

Some lethal farts he's got I'll bet that if you do a search on the disk for *.m4p you'll find the files. The iTunes DB may just be hosed.
