Just curious, Spring is around the corner and my car is just about done. Me being fairly new to NJ, im dying to meet up, do a drive etc, car-show or just a plain meet up at one of the dealers or something soon. Anyone planning anything in the lines of a MINI meet of some sort in this area soon ? I cant really do the MOTD or any of those week long meets. Wish i could!

Ok, thanks for the heads up! But i just looked for info here and couldnt find anything. I also went to PrincetonMini.com and they dont have any events listed on there! If its on NEMini.net, well i can forget about going since ive tried numerous times to get a account on that site to no avail.
Anyway, is that date right? April 6th is a friday, thats why im wondering.
I will call them sometime this week for more info and thanks again for the notice! Im hoping to be there

If the nemini event doesn't require a rsvp, just show up. for the most part, they're easy going about that. it's not an official club per se. They're a friendly bunch.

Otherwise check out the NJ chapter of the BMWCCA. The autocross season is starting up at the end of April. I know that Mini owners participate. I hope to this season. Therer are high performance school track days as well. There's also the SCCA.

 

Part of your issue might be that it's nemini.org not nemini.net
Signing up shouldn't be an issue and it's an awesome group, plenty of runs organised all over the tristate area.

Anyway, when my service advisorasked why i wasnt on that site and i told him i had problems sighning up he stated that "in the past they have had issues with logins, but try it again. I think theyve worked it out now" and so i tried again last week, and i get the same thing! I also sent one of the Moderators a email stating my problem and have yet to hear from him. This was last week. Its def a great site and offers alot of info/events etc, i just wish i could post!

 

What happens exactly? I know that some forums have issues with accepting some email addresses. Gene the main mod is leaving the country so you may not have any luck with him. You need to try one of the other mods, they should be able to help you out.

 

Well first, i never receice the activation email. Well actuall when i press the submit button to get the activation email, after entering my email, the comp just sitts there and waits. Realy weird. I press it again, and the same thing. The percentage bar on the bottom of the page doesnt appear so the page isnt even loading! Ive had no issues sighning up at other sites, just on NeMini! And like i said, my service advisor stated they have had problems in the past. I still havent heard from the mod. I will try emailing someone else on that site and hopefully get a responce

 

I know with some boards that they have stopped accepting hotmail type email address and that could be the issue. Ever tried a different email address?

 

So anyone else in Here going to this meet At Princeton on Friday? IF the weather is decent i may go down, or up. I still dont know how far it is from me. lol
