Today I brought home two 55-gallon poly drums in my `05 S Coupe.
The first one fit inside easily with the seats down. The second one meant that the hatch stayed open , but a bungee held it down, and the second drum was at least 60% 'inside' the car.
Can anyone top that?

The box with my new elliptical trainer in it. You should have seen the store guys face when he got to the car with the box on his dolly
but I had measured so I knew it would just barely squeeze in there. I lowered my vert top. They dropped the big old box in the backseat. I raised my top & off I went

SWEET!
And here I was thinking I gave up a practical car when I gave up the station wagon for the cabrio. That certainly makes the cabrio look practical for hauling large items!
Largest items so far: 2 guitars. Yes, not large, but it's the largest thing I've had to haul.
