Urgent, need help

My friend's MCS has stoped working a week ago. He was driving it on the street then it stalled and never restarted.
we towed it back home to check ... I found dead battery so we replaced it, but it still doesnt start. I pluged my ODBII reader in but couldnt connect it , it sends me E for error so I couldnt know what's going on. Many tries of reseting ECU, with key, battery unplug and so on and the car started, idle for 5 minutes and then stop again and wouldnt start again. Now even if the engine is cool, the radiator fan is on right when I turn the key, and the engine still doesnt start! Anyone has an idea? where is the temp sensor on the MCS? I think it might be defective
Thanks for any ideas

Hello,

I have had this happen to both of my early MCS models. It is a known issue with the fan relay, it goes bad, runs the fan constantly and kills the battery etc. Dealer should cover this for him/you no problem. Let me know if I can help further!
